Hello! I've been teaching self contained High School special-ed for the past two years, and I have 5 years all together of professional experience working with kids with disabilities aged 5 - 26. I have experience working with a wide range of disabilities including autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, adhd, oppositional defiant disorder, and more. I love what I do, especially working with kids with bigger behaviors. I love to stay busy and on the move. I'm best at being creative and adapting my energy and approach to meet the unique needs of those I work with. I'm attentive and focused on keeping the kids I work with safe, and I love to build meaningful relationships with them. Some of my favorite things to do include anything crafty, being outdoors, traveling, and reading - but I can easily adapt to your children's' special interests too :) I'm super flexible and happy to help out in any way needed!
