About Alexandra

Hi! My name is Alex and I'm currently living in the Dallas, Knox-Henderson area. I'm experienced in caring for children of a variety of ages starting from 1 years old to high school! I truly enjoy being around children and would love to help you and your family out in the process. I recently graduated this past spring from Purdue University with a BS in Psychology with minors in Human Development and Family Studies and Learning Sciences. Many of my courses were focused on child development, mental health, and learning. I also have had the joy of working with children for much of my time! During summers, I was an overnight camp counselor for Middle and High Schoolers and during the school year, I worked at a preschool with a classroom of 3-5-year-olds while also jumping into classrooms with 1-2-year-olds from time to time. As of currently, throughout the week, I serve with City Year in schools as an Americorps Member where I am an academic and life mentor for 5th graders!
