I hired Alex to care for my 3 month old son for a temporary position until I felt ready to start him in daycare. She did great with our son and even did extra things around the house to help out and brought me food she cooked while my husband was on deployment. Everything was great until she quit on me with no advance notice, and I was forced to start my son in daycare before I was ready. I understand if someone wants to move on but the right thing to do is to give at least a weeks notice.
