I am a veteran preschool teacher, who has spent the last 15 years caring for and teaching young children, mainly using the Reggio Approach. I have been in the early childhood field for over 15 years, and I have spent the last couple of years transitioning into medicine - I am a volunteer firefighter and paid EMT, and I am going to school for pediatric nursing. I have my Bachelors degree in Human Development and my Masters in Early Childhood Education, with a perfect driving record, and clean background check. The care-giving aspect of my work is what is most important to me, and I feel a sense of joy and aliveness when caring for children. I think people in the field can sometimes overlook these basics, however quality relationships in early childhood determine so many outcomes in many domains for that child's lifespan.
