About Alexander

Hi y'all! My name is Alex (he/him), welcome to my profile! I'm originally from the Los Angeles area (Go Angels!), but moved up to Seattle about 7 years ago for my undergraduate degree, so I would like to think I'm a local now. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Communications & History with a minor in Diversity Studies. Additionally, I just completed my Master's in Teaching and WA state teaching credentials. I have a wide range of experience working with youth-from toddlers to middle school, but with more recent experience in the preschool through kindergarten. I'm passionate about childhood development and love to build upon a child's innate curiosity by constructing open-ended projects and explorations to make sense of the world around them. I love to connect with children by reading and performing stories, engaging in their imaginary play, sports, and lots of arts and crafts.
