About Alexa

Hello, my name is Alexa (Lexy), and I live in Cornelius. I am a college student pursuing a degree in Health Science with minors in Pre-Occupational Therapy and Disability Studies. At this time, I am looking for short-term or as-needed work during my college break, with availability from 12/15 - 1/15/2025. I bring six years of babysitting experience and three years as a summer nanny, working with children ranging from three months to 15 years old. My experience includes roles in aftercare programs, a church kid center, and one-on-one care for several families I still work with today. I am happy to assist with meal preparation, carpooling, homework, bathing, and bedtime routines. In addition to my childcare experience, I pride myself on strong communication, adaptability, and creative problem-solving skills, which help me create a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children. I am passionate about supporting each child's unique needs while providing dependable care for families.
