About Alexa

As a childcare provider, I enjoy sharing my love of the outdoors, reading, acting/film and creativity/art with kids. I enjoy watching children grow and learn, and being there for them as they grow and face new challenges in school and life in general. I have over eight years of experience including babysitting, camp counseling, teaching and most recently school counseling/social emotional learning. I think it's important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling and enriched environment. I am an enthusiastic, responsible, and level-headed. I possess superb communication skills and I am someone who can build rapport easily with kids, parents, and work colleagues alike. I am able to prioritize a high volume of tasks and not lose sight of what matters most... developing and maintaining a safe, fun and equitable environment for every child and fostering growth through meaningful learning and personal social-emotional experiences.
