About Alexa

Hello, I'm Alexa, I am writing to express my interest in this nanny position. Here is a little bit of my experience. In high school I studied child development my junior and senior year as well has held an internship with an elementary school aiding in their after school program. In 2014 I cared for two girls, ages 6 and 8, my duties were to pick them up from school, tutor them, prepare meals, and light housekeeping. After my time with the family I decided to establish my career in customer service/ finance. At the end of 2019 I was offered a full time position to care for a 1. 5-year-old, my responsibilities were to maintain a daily schedule with her naps, meals, and organize activities that encouraged cognitive and motor skill development. When Covid-19 cause the schools to shut down I was also responsible of caring for her 6-year-old brother, my goal as their caregiver was to maintain a healthy and loving environment for them to continue their growth.
