About Alethea

Coming from a family of six kids I have grown up loving kids and getting along with them exceptionally well. I have over 10 years of paid babysitting experience with children as young as 3 months to 11 years old. I have also volunteered at Church youth groups and as a camp counselor so I can connect with teens as well. However, most of my experience is with babies and younger children. My most recent nanny position was for two boys ages 8 months and 2. 5 years. In addition to my experience caring for children, I also have culinary and housecleaning skills. I find it important to leave the space clean whenever Ieave. I have found kids of all ages to be drawn to my personality and I hope that I'll have the same experience with your family. I am an artsy person who loves to paint, draw, and do crafts. I also enjoy being outdoors in God's creation. I have a dog of my own and am a pet lover. Alethea was a part-time nanny for our family for over a year, and she was truly exceptional. She started with our 1.5-year-old and transitioned beautifully to care for our newborn when our firstborn turned 2. Alethea is incredibly patient, loving, and adventurous, always finding creative and fun activities to engage our toddler. Despite our kids only speaking Spanish, she adapted seamlessly to our family. She is reliable, consistent, and always went above and beyond. We have been so grateful for her care, and I can confidently say you won’t be disappointed!
