About Alessia

During high school, I gained valuable experience babysitting for two different families. One family had two lively kids, aged 5 and 7, while the other family had an adorable 3-year-old. It was rewarding to engage with them, create fun activities, and ensure their safety and well-being. Additionally, my four years as a summer camp counselor, specifically with preschool-aged campers, further honed my childcare skills. These experiences were not only enjoyable but taught me the importance of patience, creativity, and effective communication when working with children. Outside of graduate studies, I work as a part-time barista, which allows me to interact with people from diverse backgrounds. Painting is one of my greatest passions which I find both soothing and inspiring. Reading is another love of mine; I enjoy exploring different genres and authors to expand my perspectives. I also love to cook and value trying dishes from various cuisines. Lastly, I hold a green belt in Krav Maga!
