About Alena

As a certified teacher with eight years of childcare experience, I am passionate about supporting families and providing reliable care for children. My calm and friendly demeanor, coupled with my creativity and patience, allows me to connect with children and create a nurturing environment where they can thrive. Through open communication with parents, I ensure that I understand any expectations and preferences, and will provide communication as requested or as needed. In terms of activities and hobbies, I am most familiar with educational games, board games, or technology-based games and apps. I also enjoy outdoor activities and, as a skilled swimmer, I am comfortable with supervising at a pool. In addition, I have CPR and First Aid training, am a current secondary education (state certified teacher for ages 10-18, middle-high school), and have experience tutoring and babysitting ages 4-18.
