About Alena

Greetings families! My name is Alena and I'm passionate on helping children achieve every aspect of their development. I've completed coursework in Early Childhood Education and Development, Infant and Toddler Development, along with First Aid, CPR training, and Mandated Reporter training. I'm currently a San Jose State Student majoring in Child and Adolescent Development. I worked as a child care provider for Home Care, working with different families in San Jose and am currently working as a daycare teacher at KinderCare. I've worked with children ranging from infancy to 5 years old at my center, but have also worked with school age children. I volunteered as a children's ministry leader at my local church, attended the Livermore Regional Occupations Program in as a Child Development student, where I spent time as a 4th grade teacher's assistant at Elementary School. Aside from my current job, I also babysat on weekends for some of my students.
