About Alecia

I enjoy children, from newborns to high schoolers. I am an athletic (playful) and cultured empty nester looking for a part time position in childcare. I have certification in first aid and CPR and am also a meditation teacher. I had developed a meditation modality for small children after realizing that my son could 'sit' intermittently beginning when he was only 3 years old. I have also taught art and origami and love literature. I would prefer to work with a family that believes in minimizing the use of digital products while maximizing art, creative play and scientific approaches to learning for busy parents as well.
