Hello! My name is Aleah R. and I am looking to help enrich and improve overall quality of life by servicing children right here within my community. With my background, I have found an individualized approach to ANY service you are delivering to a person is vital to yielding the best results. In my time within the University, I was recognized for creating a variety of programs for individuals with disabilities ranging from Veterans with PTSD, children in Psychiatric units, and my favorite individuals with Developmental or Intellectual disabilities. I have a cousin with Down syndrome and my family and I have learned the importance of inclusion, accessibility, empathy, and advocacy within the years. I have been a Sylvania native my whole life which makes me very familiar with community resources and accessibility. I have spent many hours working with a variety of populations of people and my area of focus is companionship and fostering creativity in a safe and healthy environment.
