About Albertine

Hi! My name is Albertine, and I bring a compassionate, knowledgeable approach to senior care. As the oldest sister in my family, caregiving has always come naturally to me. I've been trained as a midwife, where I gained extensive hands-on experience. In addition to that, I've completed several medical internships including working in ICU and emergency room patient care, which I've developed strong skills in monitoring patient wellbeing, administering care, and offering companionship. I'm currently studying Neuroscience and Biomolecular Engineerung at UC Santa Cruz, which has furthered my understanding of age, memory, and human body systems-especially relevant when caring for seniors. I strive to offer not only assistance but kindness and support whether it's through daily tasks, medication reminders, or simply offering company. I am based in Santa Cruz and my beginning rate is $22/hr.
