About Albertine

Hi! My name is Albertine, and I'm the oldest sister of two-which means I've been naturally stepping into the role of caregiving since young. I've always loved working with kids and that passion has led me to train as a midwife, where I gained hands on experience delivering and caring for newborns. In addition, I have completed several medical internships focusing on women's health and child care, giving me a strong foundation in both health and developmental support. I'm currently majoring in Biomolecular Engineering and Neuroscience at UCSC and I bring both a patient and thoughtful approach and a science based understanding of child development to every caregiving job. Whether it's playing games, helping with work, or keeping little ones safe and happy, I love creating a warm and supportive environment for people of all ages. I'm based in Santa Cruz and my beginning rate for caregiving begins at $22/hr (+$2/hr per additional child); I'm also happy to help with laundry, cooking, etc.
