About Alaysia

Hi there! I offer English & Language Arts tutoring for K-12 students all year long! Whether your student is having trouble grasping a new concept or just needs some extra attention, I focus on developing their ELA skills while encouraging a growth mindset. Tutoring Options: 1 on 1, Group, In Person, or Online ELA Skills: Reading: Phonics, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Sight Words, and Fluency. Writing: Grammar, Writing Style, Essays, Writing Process, and more. English as a Second Language (K-5) SAT Prep: Reading and Writing skills and Test Taking Strategies (Coming Soon) My name is Alaysia, I'm a teacher by day and a writer by night. I graduated from Millersville University with a Bachelor's in writing and minored in studio art. I've worked with children (babysitter, nanny, tutor, success coach, teacher) from infancy to teenagers. When I'm not working, I love watching movies, reading novels, and hanging out with my siblings.
