About Alavia

Hi! I'm Alavia, and I've dedicated the last 12 years of my life to caring for children, with 10 of those years spent working for the Palm Beach County School District. My passion for working with children, especially those with special needs, stems from my desire to make a positive impact on their lives and support their families. As a childcare provider, I bring a combination of patience, creativity, and friendliness to my interactions with children. I believe in open communication with parents and provide regular updates about their child's day, whether through written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, or regular text or phone call updates. My experience and skills allow me to comfortably enforce household rules and engage children in a variety of games, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. I have my CPR Training certification, and I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time.
