Hello, I'm Alanna, and I am passionate about fostering children's growth and development with play, hands-on learning and fun! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education, with a concentration in Special Ed/Early Childhood and additional endorsements in Special Ed P-12 and Regular Ed K-8. I have spent the last 20+ years being a stay-at-home mom to my own children who have flown the nest, so I am now looking forward to caring for, and nurturing, another family. My true passion is early childhood; those years are truly magical! I love to engage children in play and hands-on learning, from art, crafting, reading, and cooking, to music, dance, and outside play. I have twin experience, a clean driving record, current first aid and CPR certifications, and am a non-smoker. As a person, I am gentle, reliable, creative, and compassionate. I have spent many hours volunteering in my children's schools and my community, including with a local animal rescue. I look forward to hearing from you!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Alanna as a nanny and nighttime care giver. Our son was 7 months old when we hired her and she was absolutely wonderful with our son! She is very sweet, playful, and gentle and he just adored her! We loved that she was a former teacher and that really showed in the way that she interacted with him in age appropriate ways. She even pointed out developmental markers that we were unaware of which helped us interact with him even better. She took him to enrichment activities like the petting zoo or the park, which we appreciated. She also took care of our son overnight, as he was not sleeping through the night yet. She was always punctual and reliable, and we felt that he was always in safe, caring and experienced hands. I have endless good things to say about the high level of care she gave our son! She’s amazing!
