About Alana

My name is Alana, I recently completed High-School and am in my first year of college (online) studying psychology. I am looking to work as a nanny/babysitter to save for grad school. I have been working with children practically my whole life, I started babysitting as a job at 12. I love to keep close connections with every family even after the kids have grown up, kids are like family to me. I love to babysit because I am truly a kid at heart, I feel more connected to children than I ever have people my own age. I can truly understand them on deeper levels and relate. I love to engage with children with age appropriate activities and games and never indulge in screen time unless permitted by parent(s). I believe in a happy childhood and having good experiences with your babysitter is apart of that. I always give full reports to parents because it is so important they are involved and communicated every step of the way. I'd love to get to know your family and your children!
