About Alana

I began working as a "mothers helper" at the age of 10, and childcare in one form or another has been a constant theme in my life ever since. I was a nanny after high school and babysat consistently through college and then later, grad school. I spent the last 8 years working as an occupational therapist and am currently taking time off to be with my baby daughter. I'm looking to find some regular or sporadic jobs in order to continue to make staying home with her feasible! We can come to you or have a child or two join us :) I love getting outside and make a point to do so in all kinds of weather. I also enjoy playing, crafts, dress-ups, cooking, helping with homework, cleaning or whatever else is needed. I look forward to meeting you and your children! ***While I have completed many trainings over the years, my CPR and BLS certificates are currently expired and I'm looking into courses to update them.
