Hello! My name is Alaina, but I only go by Ai(: Im currently taking a pause from my corporate life to work on my art and am looking for a part time gig! I was a babysitter throughout high school and a nanny throughout college. I also worked in the infant toddler center, and studied childhood development. I graduated from Vassar College in 2018. I love working with munchkins; watching their gears turn as they discover the world and helping them along that journey brings me much joy. I'm great with replicating routine but Im also young and high energy meaning I can quickly improvise and redirect when needed. Im notorious for tiring the munchkins out. I'm also a creative strategist (corporate title) and artist so great at creating simple games and art projects. I do also have a car and clean driving record (an anomaly in BK). I've worked for a plethora of families in Chicago, Geneva (CH), and NY so I have plenty of references, just ask!

Alaina has been watching my little ones since my first born was 2 and then when I had my infant. She is a wonderful caretaker and very responsible. In the years she has been in Poughkeepsie, I have grown to love her like my own child. She will certainly be missed around here and anyone that hires her is lucky to have her. My kids are currently 2 and 5 and absolutely love her. She can also watch multiple kids if they have a friend over. She is fun and creative and doesn't just sit and allow the kids to watch tv. She is interactive, runs them around and is incredible in getting them to sleep...its like she is a sleep whisperer. I am SO sad she is leaving us in a few months but know she will do great things! I would refer her to anyone needing a sitter or infant care taker!
