About Alaa

Hi! I'm Alaa, a journalist, Columbia University master's graduate, and a former teacher! I am also the eldest of five children -- my love for kids started with decades of taking care of my siblings. I am offering child care, pet care, senior care, and household services (laundry, cooking, etc!) For more than 10 years, I have worked as a teacher, tutor, and babysitter for children ages 3-15 alongside my journalism job (I am currently a writer for CNN). I absolutely adore children and love to be hands-on with them - I am happy to help with school work, reading, coming up with fun and creative activities, and anything else you need. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and providing all updates as you require. I have also tutored (English/ writing) for students at my university, so l can really help a ton with reading, writing, etc, but am a great tutor with any subjects! Can't wait to meet you guys!
