About Akosua

I grew up surrounded by a few amazing teachers who cared for me and showed me how to find my voice through education. This led me upon my journey within education. Now, with a total of 14 years, in different capacities of childcare experience, I'm passionate about helping children feel seen and cared for. I am creative, imaginative and friendly. I'm also calm, caring, loving, and patient. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, charades, uno and educational games, as well as outdoor sports and physical activities. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and follow the parents' preferred communication method to discuss their child's day or any issues that arise. I'm a certified teacher with early childhood education coursework and training in First Aid and CPR. I'm also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I'm confident I can provide a safe, nurturing environment for your child and encourage their innate creative abilities and gifts.
