Hi! My name is Aki. My passion for caring and helping others would make me a great fit for working with senior citizens. I would describe myself as easy going, grounded and friendly. My approach to senior care would be to build a relationship with the individual as far as they feel comfortable. I strive to make intimate, human connections rather than just fulfilling the task I am given. It brings me great joy to connect in such ways, and I see it as a privilege to share such moments, particularly with elders. Having experienced my grandfather pass away from Alzheimer's, I have learned a special kind of patience and compassion when it comes to caring for the elderly. I would make a great companion because I enjoy having conversations, reading or playing crossword puzzles, or just sitting down and hanging out. On a more practical note, I am very responsible and take pride in completing my duties. The safety and well-being of whoever I am working with is my number one priority.

Aki was an extremely hard worker. He worked for my dad for a short time before my dad had to go to the hospital and have surgery. He and was great communicator, reliable, and flexible. He took direction well, and asked all the right questions. Both my parents loved him which hasn't happened before. I highly recommend him and would hire him again when my dad comes out of the hospital.
