I have am extensive background in the child care industry with this being my 8th year. I have been a tutor, nanny/babysitter, peer Mentor, teachers assistant, substitute teacher and I've worked for read non profit organization Read USA as an assessor helping with literally in the duval county. I enjoy traveling, DIY projects and cooking. Coming from an West Indians I grew up in an extended family always baby sitting my sibling and cousins, the importance of family is special to me, throughout all my years of childcare I feel I thrive best in the homes of my clients. It not only provides security because their homes are a safe place but an opportunity for more hand on activities; every thing is centered around the child. Being a babysitter allows me use my creativity to bond with them individually.
