About Akemi

Hi there! My name is Akemi and I’m a PhD student at Boston University with a passion for working with children. I’m an experienced caregiver, having grown up as an older sibling and frequently babysitting my younger cousins. I understand the importance of creating a positive, safe, and engaging environment for kids to thrive, and I love bringing energy and creativity to activities. With a flexible schedule as a graduate student, I’m available for morning and afternoon babysitting, light housekeeping, and even helping with homework. I come from a family of educators, so I’m also comfortable supporting schoolwork or any learning activities your children might need help with. I’m a responsible, friendly, and reliable individual who loves spending time with kids and pets. I’m also happy to lend a hand with any pet care or light chores around the house.
