I am currently in graduate school for occupational therapy. I have 3 years of experience working alongside individuals with disabilities. I volunteered through the Northeast Arc disability support center for 3 years in undergrad and absolutely loved it. I've also worked in a nursing facility that had memory care unit so I am comfortable working with individuals who have dementia. I've also worked as a PCA for an individual with CP. My occupational therapy education has provided me with introductory training in alternative communication methods and assistive tech.
