About Ainsley

I started looking after kids when I was in high school, often taking care of my step siblings (children ages 8yo-12yo) or watching the kids of family friends (children ages 10mo-6yo). I am now in a stage of life where I've graduated college and have a full time job, but am looking for something on the side to assist my income. As someone with a degree in Writing & Publishing who also studied Art, I like to think of myself as someone who is creative and patient. It is a goal of mine to work in Children's Literature one day, and I appreciate the value that working as a children's caretaker contributes to that. I believe that kids have just as much to teach us as we do them, and I think any chance to see the world from their view is an exciting and insightful one. I am responsible and ambitious, grounded and creative, and I know myself to be someone who is both nurturing and imaginative. In my spare time I like to read, draw, crochet, bake, do yoga, hike, & spend time with friends.
