I have over 30 years of experience in nursing. I no longer have a nursing license due to health issues. I have mostly worked in nursing homes and convalescent center early in my career, but have spent a couple of years working skilled care (post surgical, higher need). I also spent some years in Texas doing traveling nursing and worked at a variety of small hospitals and care centers. For the past few years I have provided home care/ companionship. I am comfortable working with adults, including older patients, geriatrics is my specialty. I have reliable transportation to and from jobs. I also enjoy taking care of little ones. I have one daughter myself who is 26 years old. And I love animals so that is never a problem for me. I do have severe arthritis especially in my knees, which is why I am disabled. I am looking for a part time position, a few days a week. Preferably in a single story setting. Having to walk upstairs to a second floor would be very difficult for me.
