First I would like to introduce myself my name is Aimee. I am a Licensed/Certified Nursing Assistant with 13 years experience. I have worked at hospitals, nursing homes, doctors offices, and many private duty cases. I have experience caring for the elderly who have had strokes, surgeries, cancer, dementia, dialysis, diabetics, etc. I have assisted those with these conditions with all ADLs (activities of daily living). I also have experience with feeding tubes and wound care. I love helping others, and truly love my line of work! It makes me feel good as a person at the end of the day. My mother was terminally ill with cancer and passed away. I definitely relate on what it's like to have a loved one be sick. For this it just makes me a more compassionate caregiver. Aimee was my mother's caregiver for a year until she passed. Aimee always took initiative to solve any obstacles that occurred and brought them to my attention. She was defiantly my eyes and ears when I couldn't be present. Aimee is very compassionate about her job. She always demonstrated patience even during my mother's most difficult days.
