About Aili

My name is Aili (eye-lee) and I'm getting a bachelor's in Studio Art and Psychology at Western Washington University! I started babysitting 7 years ago working with different families. For the last 10 months I worked as a toddler and infant teacher for the Boys and Girls Club. I've worked with kids as young as 2 months old up to 12 years old. Seasonally, I have taught art to students ages 5-14. My favorite thing to do with kids is art and playing games! In terms of behavior, I always look at the situation from the child's perspective and validate their big emotions. Taking a walk or taking deep breaths to soothe the nervous system. And then, using our words to talk through things. Planning in advance would be ideal for me in regards to scheduling. If it's an evening I can do anytime (short notice).
