Hello, I'm happy you're here! I'm a compassionate, patient, and gentle caregiver to persons with special needs and believe in cultivating goodness of fit for each individual. I find pleasure in connecting w/ our friends, while providing a safe and engaging environment. My training ranges from Montessori to ABA. For the last 4 yrs, I worked as an early-childhood, special education teacher with VA's public schools. I'm experienced w/ 0-18y and really enjoy little learners, 2-5y. I enjoy creating activities for crafts, outdoor time, socio-emotional, motor and pre-/ academic skills. If there is a particular skill you'd like to work on, such as toileting, feeding, or conversing, please let me know and we can devise a plan. I love partnering with parents.
