About Aileen

Hello! I've been working with children for 7+ years; my training ranges from Montessori to ABA. I believe in goodness of fit for our friends, using strategies learned in years of professional development, based in best practice. Currently, I'm taking time from the classroom to complete my M. Ed. During the past 4 years, I've worked with VA's public schools, as an early-childhood, special education teacher. I particularly enjoy working with little learners, ages 2-5, and persons with special needs. I'm a compassionate, gentle, and patient caregiver. I love connecting w/ littles and forming caring, responsive relationships. I find pleasure in creating activities, such as crafts, enriching pre-academic concepts, etc. I love fostering a safe and engaging environment for little learners while partnering w/ parents. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and traveling. I'm available to work hours other than the ones listed; please ask! Hope I may be of service, Aileen
