Hi, I am a very warmhearted, open person looking for work in child care. When I graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts my first job was as a live in nanny for an artist couple with two boys. Now grown I am still friends with these young men. For 22 years I made my living managing the concessions in the Netherlander Organization of Broadway theaters. During that time I also helped raise a niece and nephew. After that I was a patient advocate. I have also done background work in film and television. My life experience has always involved the arts and children. I have a flexible schedule and am reliable and organized. I have missed working with children and look forward to another position taking care of them.

Without any hesitation, I am pleased to give Aileen my highest recommendation as a professional. For two years, she was a caregiver for my two daughters when they were 9 and 12 years old. Having written a parenting book with the head of Barnard College's early childhood center, I had much experience observing and working with caregivers. Aileen was amazing with my daughters and my husband and myself. She was extremely conscientious, and has a natural gift for making children thrive. She was extremely creative, help them understand their feelings and worked out situations that helped them mature. Having such a wonderful experience with Aileen I then hired Aileen to be head of the production of my Fringe Play that was in a New York theater in 2014. Once again, Aileen went way beyond the job description. She worked endless hours, was always ready to work out problems, and extremely organized. Additionally, Aileen has a magic touch with understanding people and helping them to push their limit. As an employee, I have now seen Aileen in many situations and I truly believe an employee is fortunate to have her.
