I'm originally a nanny!!! But part of my job is to run errands, grocery shopping, pick up and drop off children to school, house cleaning, laundry and light cooking.

I hired Aida a few months ago and she is a really nice individual, but her father got sick and she had to go to Mexico to take care of him. In the meanwhile I was being cared for by other care givers. What really disappointed me with Aida is, she told me that she would be back and then last min she said that she had to stay another week. I understood that her dad was sick but then when that week went and gone, she called the day she was supposed to start, that she was in the Hospital. She then after a few days in the hospital said she need to go dad and care for her sick dad. The responsible thing for her to do was say that she couldn't work anymore instead of being stranded for a week wondering if she was going to be back to work. Do you want someone who is honest with you from the start when something comes up and that she might not be able to continue working for you, or do you want someone that is wish washy on her availability? I wouldn't trust Aida with working for me ever again.
