About Aida

Hey! My name is Aida, a junior majoring in anthropology with minors in counseling and sociology. I've spent most my life working with children, both through paid and volunteer roles. I've worked in summer camps and afterschool programs for elementary and middle school students, and even coached high school volleyball. My passion for mentoring and guiding youth has led me to a leadership role at an afterschool program, where I blend structure with joy to create classroom environments that supports growth, creativity, and learning. I've always had a talent for connecting with young people, building relationships that empower them to surpass their perceived limits. My commitment to their development extends to being their advocate, ensuring they feel heard and valued. Beyond my work, I enjoy reading and swimming in my free time. Whether mentoring youth or supporting colleagues, I approach every role with empathy, dedication, and an eagerness to grow and make a positive impact.
