Currently, I am looking for 15-20 hours a week. My goal is to make learning fun while addressing the best way to teach each child in accordance to their learning style. I like to create variation in activities such as reading, painting, drawing, storytelling, music appreciation, games, dance, and yoga as well as outdoor activities. I like to make activities such as clean up time fun times and incorporate social, problem solving, and academic "teachable moments" throughout the day. I teach positive communication, coping strategies, problem solving skills and socialization, and role-model these traits with respect, consideration, patience and compassion. 10 years of experience. Ahuilitzli has been looking after our 13 month old son for the last six months, and it has been a wonderful experience! She tends to our son with a warm, calming energy and he loves his time with her. She follows his interests and so they quickly bonded getting outside on stroller walks. She has been respectful of our families values and our parenting style, such as no screen time. She has helped us with baby led weaning, Montessori style play, and teaching our son baby sign language.
