About Agnes

I'd describe my personality as encouraging, approachable and engaging. I like tutoring because I love learning and I love the response from the student when they understand something that has been elusive! I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a difference in someone's school life. I started tutoring when in high school I was asked to help other students. As a teaching assistant at SUNY-Buffalo, I tutored during office hours. I tutored children from Sunday school as a volunteer and also neighbors. I think I've always tutored. In my spare time, I like to cook, read, play scrabble in French and watch the news. I love seeing films. One thing you should know about me is I have two cats (in case of allergies). My skills include love of subject matter, clear explanations and patience.
