About Afzal

I currently work as a scientist at Emory University, and before this, I was a chemist and forensic research scientist. Thus, I have a demonstrated experience of knowing what steps to take to reach success! Throughout college, I worked three part-time jobs simultaneously while being a full-time student. Even with my added responsibilities, I still graduated as the top chemistry major, university valedictorian (a year early too!), and as commencement speaker. I was a TA throughout college and have glistening reviews and have maintained contact with my students! I understand what it's like to struggle or not catch on as quickly. I make content relevant to my student and their interests to meet them where they are. My strong suits are chemistry, biology, physics, psychology, English/language arts, and more!
