About Afton

Hi there! My name is Afton! I am 23 years old & live in Portland, ME. Currently am seeking a full time nanny position with a great family! My previous experience includes nannying, working in a classroom as an Early Childhood Educator, well as holding a Registered Medical Assistant certification where I previously worked in pediatrics for a year & a half. I enjoy nature & the outdoors, kayaking, fishing, camping, and just hanging out at home with my two cats! Utilizing nature, as well as arts & crafts for enrichment, & a few fun day trips here & there are some interests I would love to implement with kiddos! Creating a fun, positive environment is the goal. I think a job best suited for me would be establishing a long term connection with a family through daily care ( 30-40 hrs a week). I would also love to help out on some weekends/date nights too! I am CPR/Basic life support/First Aid certified & can provide great references.
