Hi! I'm Afton and I'm currently a Freshman at University of Wisconsin - River Falls. I've been working with kids for about 4 years now. I originally started my journey in childcare by assisting at a hockey camp. I'm now currently employed at a local childcare center where I've worked for the past two years. During my time at the childcare center, I have worked as a Teacher's Aide in the Infant room, as well as worked as a substitute teacher in rooms aging from infants - fifth grade. I've always had a passion for working with children. I love being able to build connections with both the kids and their families as well as help them grow and learn! I am both Pediatric First Aid (Infant, Child, and Adult) Certified and Basic Life Support Certified!

Afton has been a wonderful caregiver to our two girls. She has great communication skills, is dependable and compassionate but most importantly fully invested in our girls everytime she is with them. She finds a way to connect with each of them through activities and games at their level. My oldest daughter asks when she is going to get to see Afton again as soon as she leaves. Highly recommend!
