Aeissa has been our nanny for our son for almost a year now. She started when he was 8 months old, and he is now 18 months old! She very naturally joined our family rhythm from the very beginning. Our family values structure but also a flexible schedule based on our child's daily needs and cues for eating, sleeping etc. Aeissa is always respectful of our parenting style and does a great job being an extension of that. She is very observant and is well informed on standard milestones. She proactively comes up with activities to help our son's development whether it be learning how to walk or learning how to communicate. She's incredibly playful with him and is often taking him to playtimes, library storytime, the park etc. She's also super helpful around the house if I ask for help, but I personally don't have an expectation for her to do much housekeeping when she's so hands-on with my son.
