As a retired elementary school teacher with 30 years of experience, I'm passionate about nurturing the development and well-being of young minds. My calm and patient demeanor creates a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn, grow, and explore. Although I am over 60, I am in excellent health. I work out five mornings per week and walk about an hour every day, so I have more energy than many people half my age. My educational background includes coursework in early child development, which informs my play-based approach to learning. I enjoy engaging children in board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote cognitive development. I can also provide homework help. I am also proficient in meal preparation, so I can ensure your child receives nutritious snacks and meals. I'm happy to assist with carpooling and light housekeeping tasks as needed.

Adrienne currently helps us 3 days a week balancing the demands and schedules of our three kids 5 and under. She's great with our infant, 3 months, and plays and teaches our 3 year old, my 5 year old says "Adrienne knows how to teach kids how to read." despite our attempt to read with him for months. She is kind, patient, loving, warm, responsible, and very trustworthy. She's a natural, she multi-tasks and even does light housekeeping. I almost cried when I saw her vacuuming and doing the kids' laundry. I hope I can keep her forever.
