I am a skilled and compassionate animal handler and trainer with extensive expertise in shelter management, behavior evaluation, and specialized care for high-risk cases. With a strong foundation in veterinary medicine, animal physiology, and crisis care, I bring a deep commitment to animal welfare and a passion for helping animals thrive. My hands-on experience is complemented by my volunteer work with Handsome Dan's Rescue and Outbound Hounds as a Shelter Dog Enrichment Specialist and as an HSUS partner for dog fighting survivors. I hold certifications as a Fear Free Certified Professional, Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional, and Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator, and I am actively pursuing CPDT certification to expand my knowledge and skills further. My shelter work and volunteer roles have solidified my expertise in rehabilitation and enrichment, particularly for dogs crisis situations, and have reinforced my dedication to creating meaningful, positive change in their lives.
