My overall experience with Aria was only mediocre. She is kind and passive. She is mostly punctual she doesn't have a car and that made it difficult for her to make it to work. On one occasion, due to dependence on the bus, she was over an hour late and my children were home alone. My greatest frustration with this occurrence was her neglect to communicate in the situation. I was made aware of her absence by my children. She did not let me know she was running late and having difficulty getting to my home. When I was attempting to contact her in the heat of the situation she wouldn't answer my call or text messages in a timely manner. When she finally did she wasn't forthcoming about her precise whereabouts. I was depending on her to be there in time as my work had me 30 miles away and could not immediately return. Fortunately my daughters are responsible and old enough to handle themselves for a short period of time and we're alright. Aria is also absent minded, she locked herself out of my home twice. She ruined my couch cushion with gum that she sat in while waiting for me to return. In this situation she also did it communicate her being locked out until after the fact. My children mentioned on multiple occasions her lack of attention to personal hygiene. Also that there were occasions where she was solely focused on playing the video game she brought to entertain my daughters with that she neglected to let them play at all for lengthy periods of time. Finally, and the most important thing is that she decided not to continue to work for me because of her difficulties in commuting to my home in the mornings. Her boyfriend, not Aria, sent the text to notify me 40 minutes before I needed to leave the house to make it to work. Simply, stating that she "would not be coming that day and for an indeterminate amount of time." I attempted to contact her to check on her well-being and to request the return of my spare key. She failed yet again to communicate with me. I had to have the lock replaced. I wouldn't hire her to watch my children again. I would say she is better equipped to take care of animals which she seems to really enjoy.
