About Adelia

Hello, my name is Adelia and I'm 20 years old! For most of my teen years, I was the oldest at my youth group and was a leader working with children at church, which included Sunday and Wednesday and preparing some lessons as well as currently. I worked for a year at the Knox County YMCA before and after school program. I worked with many children all at once, and I also was promoted to Director at my site at Mable Woolsey in Knoxville, Illinois. I am CPR and first aid certified. Also, one of my biggest strengths is that I love children, and I also love playing games! I don't mind sitting down playing Barbie's, or tag, or anything the children come up with. I don't mind helping with meals, transportation, or even a little cleaning that needs to be done. I am currently in college working towards a degree for Music Therapy, as I would like to work with children that have trauma, and teach them how to release emotions through music, maybe even write songs like I do. Overall, I am excited!
