About Adelia Evelina

Hello! My name is Adelia and I am a 22-year-old senior at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Growing up, I attended boarding school in Lake Placid, New York, which cultivated my love for the outdoors, arts & crafts, movie nights, and working out. This summer, I had the wonderful opportunity to be a Residential Assistant for high school students at Columbia's Pre-College Program. This role not only honed my leadership skills but also deepened my passion for working with young people. Prior to that, I spent two summers teaching middle school and high school students about film and documentary editing, sharing my enthusiasm for storytelling and creativity. In addition to my professional experiences, I regularly babysit my 3-year-old niece, which has given me hands-on experience in childcare. During my boarding school years I also babysat the faculty kids between the ages of 4-13. I am responsible, patient, and love creating a fun and safe environment for children.
