In May 2015, I graduated with a bachelor's in middle childhood education, mathematics and ELA. Upon graduation, I earned a teaching position to work as a 5th grade ELA teacher and a graduate assistant at Ohio University to work towards my master's. I've been tutoring students of all ages in math, reading, and writing since I was in high school. Through college, I tutored a 5th grader, 6th grader, and 9th grader in mathematics. These students ranged not only in grade level, but also in ability level and behavior. In May 2016, I earned my masters in Reading Education in order to enhance my skills in reading and writing instruction, intervention, and assessment. This also certified me to become a reading specialist.
