Hi, I am Addison. I am currently a RBT (registered behavioral technician). I work with children who have autism, and tech them essential daily life skills. I also have previous experience as a DSP (direct support professional). I worked in a group home providing services to a variety of disabilities. I am looking forward to getting to know you, and your families! :) I'd describe my personality as Outgoing, Empathetic, and Patient. Throughout my time in this field, I've noticed the impact on each and every client i've had, as well as opened my eyes on the importance of seeing the world through their perspective. I started caring for people with special needs a few months after turning 18. Being young, and at the time, new in the field, there was a lot of learning, and challenges. Yet, I have found this to be the most rewarding experience seeing the progress my clients have made. My skills include adaptability, communication skills, and reliability.
